The Two Oceans Marathon organizers asked me to write a blog post regarding running in what in South Africa is called a “bus”. Other call it “pace setter”. The principle is the same:

A girl or a guy has a balloon or a flag indicating her or his expected finish time, and this pace setter becomes the running beacon for runners keen on finishing in this time.

Since I was a pace setter / bus driver in 2012, I shared my experiences on the Two Oceans Marathon blog.
