The Two Oceans Marathon organizers asked me to write a blog post regarding running in what in South Africa is called a “bus”. Other call it “pace setter”. The principle is the same:
A girl or a guy has a balloon or a flag indicating her or his expected finish time, and this pace setter becomes the running beacon for runners keen on finishing in this time.
You can see me as the bus driver in the middle with a flag and the bus passengers around me
