I’m back from the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon Expo.
What a great expo and you can feel the vibe! Once again perfectly organized. In the beginning they couldn’t find my race number, but Adam from the staff took care of it and sorted it. All good.
I always go there on the first day, to avoid the very busy times on day 2 and day 3 especially.
I met our friends from Germany, Martin and his wife Beate with son Jonas. Martin is losing his ultra-virginity and I believe, he is a bit nervous 🙂 Just like I was before my first Two Oceans in 2009.

At the Adidas booth I got asked by another runner if I am the guy who paced the Sub 6h bus years back. I said yes – and he replied that he follows my blog. Very nice!! If you are the one, please leave a comment below.

Now it’s all set for Saturday… Can’t wait.
By the way: I’ve been on a treatmill for a minute or two to test a new shoe. And my left foot felt very good. Good sign!
