Early morning gym session, followed by a 18 km run. The times of slow runs are more or less over. Today the target pace was between 5:40 and 5:55. I chose 5:40.
It was great!
I the past I used to go to the gym without having breakfast, followed by a run and breakfast was next. Often I felt exhausted when I started running, and a serious pace was not really possible.
Recently I started to consume a sports drink during the gym session, preparing me for the run.
And it works fantastic! I have more power during the gym session and especially on the run.
Today, I felt like Hulk. No, not as green as him – but as powerful 😉
