I really felt yesterday’s 40 km in my body.
Instead of running in the morning, I waited until afternoon to give my body additional time to recover.
My goal was to run the 20 km at Two Oceans Pace – which is 5:15 min/km on average. The first 3-4 km were pretty tough, but all of a sudden I got my rhythm, and pulled off the 20 km with a 5:14 min/km average pace. Happy 🙂
The weather was pleasant, 10°C and no rain.
