IMG_5372After 3 weeks without going to the gym, I had the opportunity to visit my club today.

I also wanted to run only a short session right after the gym, since my wife and I had plans to do a trail run in the evening as well.

The plan was to warm up for 1 km and run for 5 km at a 4:20 – 4:30 min/km pace.

After 2 km I felt it was too much (4:23 min/km). I stopped and walked/jogged for about 500 m. Then I accelerated again and ran another 1.5 km at a high pace (4:27 min/km). I wasn’t strong enough today for this pace. But I’m not worried at all.
