It was extremely wet this morning, therefore I reduced the distance a bit from 15 km to 11 km for my run after a gym session.
But this was not the only reason to shorten it.
The main reason is that something is not 100% with my left food/shin. It’s nothing I experienced before, it’s not really painful, but it’s not how it’s supposed to be. I felt this for the first time yesterday evening during a walk – not a run.
I will skip the 30 km run I had planned for tomorrow and wait until I do not have any pain any more. Now it counts to be pain- and injury-free for Oceans. It helps to know that the distance I covered in my training runs so far is pretty good as a preparation for Oceans.
