HardIsWhatMakesItGreat-MedalDay no. 6 after Comrades.

The first 3 days I had very sore legs, mainly the tights were hurting due to the effect of the long down section in the last part of the race.

Already on day 3 I went to the gym. I was not as strong as usually while exercising with weights. No wonder why 🙂 At the gym I also went on a spinning bike for 20 minutes, no resistance, just free-wheeling to get the muscles going and assist in getting rid of the soreness. It worked.

Today I went out for a very easy 10km run. All well!

The time after Comrades is so nice, because I am not following any strict training schedule and can run for fun. Yes, the training according to a plan is fun as well, but right now it’s even more relaxed.
