Foggy morningBetween last weeks 40 km training run and next weeks Peninsula Marathon I made my long run not too long. 32 km feel quite comfortable in the meantime.

The weather was very runner friendly, starting with some 16°C, climbing to some 22°C when the sun came out. But that took a while, due to the fog coming in from the sea.

My second turning point of the route was the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. With an amazing sighting: A french warship. I believe it’s here in a friendly mission 😉

and a few seconds later the fog almost immediately dissapeared

ReceFoodDuring this run I tested a new source of nutrition for races with the very appropriate name “race food”.

It’s a nougat with cranberry & almonds, not sweet, not melting and very easy to eat and digest. No, I did not eat the whole package. Just one bar out of the 5 from this package 😉

This means: I have another option for my race nutrition. Very good to know!

After the run, well you might have guessed it already, another set of testo-training (3 x 30m). I’m now used to it.
